About me - Michelle Cannon

About me

Originally from Tennessee, I have lived in Florida since 1982. I am a 39-year-old, single mother of 5 children ranging in age from 5 to 22 years. I have been a parenting teacher, a domestic violence victim advocate and worked in the natural health industry. I've held other jobs but none so interesting as these.

Currently, I work at home, homeschool and teach natural mothering. I own a natural, "green" cleaning service and 2 "green" online stores.

Writing has always been a passion and talent of mine. Unfortunately, despite all the encouragement I've had, I've never done anything with it other than newsletters and blogs. Hopefully being a part of Helium will change that.

The microwave that has been neglected can certainly prove to be one of these dreaded tasks if one doesn't know how to make it quick and easy. While I personally do not use microwaves, as the owner of a natural cleaning service I have cleaned more than my fair share. As with anything, prevention is worth a pound of cure.
