Last year I had it all laid out. Beans on one side of the 10' x 50' garden, peas on the other side and table greens in a little nook 5' x 5' just outside the kitchen door and the deck. Then the deer came nibbling here and there, with more and more little leaves disappearing. I talked and learned about moth balls which I tacked to the trees and eventually I hung up metallic wrapping foil banners in the breeze to ward those deer off.
