About me - Michelle C

About me

A law graduate from an English University, I am currently working within the legal field but alas, I find that it is definitely not what I had expected or hoped for. Upon getting my teeth into a legal career I have found out that the glamorous ideal I had been striving for has swiftly been replaced by the toil and drudgery of the real world.

This is where writing has stepped in to lend me a hand. I suppose you could say that my writing acts as a sort or porthole back to my youthful idealism, a welcome escape from the banal!I hope to make it a full time vocation one day, I just haven't plucked up the courage to shake off the shackles of economic reality. Money makes the world go around and until I start to get paid more substantially for my musings I'm afraid I'll have to stick to the day job.

Briefly me

My passion is ...

Reading, writing, food, traveling, the outdoors

Quite simply because I enjot it.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

All manner of things. My taste in everything is ecclectic.

My first job ...

In a hair salon

My best moment ...

The birth of my son

My inspiration ...

Every day life, my son, random thoughts, everything really.

A chemical release in the cerebral realm prompted by the pleasantries that invariably take place in those heady days, early on in any romantic relationship. The intangible, unfathomable thing that we call love has been both muse and poison to the gr...
