Can we afford not to teach teens about sex in schools? Absolutely not! Whether you believe in pre-marital sex or not, teens are having sex. Yes, it's true. They don't actually care whether you approve or not. If they're going to 'do it', they're going to 'do it'.
So what CAN we do?
Educate them. Teach them how to protect themselves. From pregnancy, from STIs, but also from heartache. Don't preach to them that abstinence is the only way they'll reach heaven, or college, or find a man who will marry them one day. Give them, instead, the tools with which they can make their own decisions...
