Personally I do not but I did spend over a year in a culture that does exactly that. The Chinese (mainland) will always tell you what you want to hear. If you ask for directions, they will make something up rather than tell you that they have no clue where it is that you are talking about. I encountered many conflicts in China and I think the difference in my personality and the cultural personality was the root cause of this.
