: About Me

I am the original Maverick. I came to helium and was a strong voice for conservative views. I drew controversy engaging in lets just say "spirited" discussions. I started to feel bias against not only myself but for the whole group of conservatives I defended. This was not bias from other writers although that was there. that is only natural in todays world. Conservatives unfortunately are fast becoming a minority. I am used to that. No, the bias I refer to came from the administration of helium. I felt that they bent over backward to defend liberal debaters by stifling the very speech and views I represented to the "community". I understand certain rules of decorum were pushed to the limit and this I don't deny. I hold no grudge against the administrators and even had the support of one. However, I protested to the point where I dared them to exile me from the community which they did. I am not without ego. I feel that to a certain extent, I helped put helium on the map. Like I said, I have an ego. I did ask for reinstatement and was denied. Oh well, such is life. I have to be true to myself and mine. Those with similar views. Anyway, I am a writer who has just completed my first novel and am in the process of shopping it around. I am very hopeful and proud of my work. Anyways, if you want to check out some of my articles, you'll find them varied and I hope informative, humorous as well as entertaining. And if you like my work, perhaps you might voice your support as for bringing me back into the community fold where you can interact with an honest pundit daily. I made some mistakes and hopefully learned from them. But still, I will never compromise my values as I know you are most likely the same.

So here is Mavericks view of this whole Beatle divorce thing. I am sick and tired of all the blah blah blah about Heather being a gold digger and some basket case. How would your mental stability be if you got up in the middle of the night and your prosthetic leg was hidden by a pot head out of pure viciousness. Poor Heather. She had to struggle just to go to the bathroom. This is not a normal divorce case. This is the Beatles and their legacy against a poor good woman who has devoted her life to charitable causes. This is "Sir" Paul we are talking about. As if he could ever be a real knig...
