Chivalry is dead, no doubt about it. In fact, it died with the Middle Ages and it is impossible to argue otherwise. What's that you say, you always hold the door open for a lady and properly seat her at the dinner table? I'm happy to hear that because manners have been growing far to scarce in America. This being said, you are still not chivalrous. Why? Two reasons: A)It is no longer the Middle Ages. B)You do not live in a feudal society.
