About me - Lacey Kirsch

About me

I was born on an Airforce base in 1983 and spent much of my childhood moving around the world with my family. We lived in exciting places like South Korea and unexciting places like Nebraska. Washington state has always been "home" and it is where I am currently settled.
My passion has always been art, whether in the form of drama, painting, pottery, writing or photography. I've now whittled it down to two main focuses, writing and photography. They seem to complement each other nicely.

Briefly me

My passion is ...

my children, my writing and above all, my Savior, Jesus Christ.

I know too much about ...

pregnancy, breastfeeding and vaccinations.

My parents always told me ...

to love God with all my heart and strive for His best in my life.

My childhood ambition ...

to be a famous Christian singer/songwriter.

My favorite memory ...

is times spent with my mother and sister, just hanging out.

Why I write ...

I write because I have too many thoughts to keep them cooped up in my head.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

Living Above the Level of Mediocrity/Christmas Movies/Third Day

My first job ...

Childcare at a daycare center.

My best moment ...

Holding my children in my arms for the first time.

My inspiration ...

My mother and my father, who are two of the most talented writers I know.
