I graduated in 2007 from Brown University with a degree in art history and am currently pursuing a masters of English. I work with special-needs kids and coach the jumpers on the track and field team at my old high school in Pennsylvania. My favorite writers are Updike, Hesse, Tolkien, CS Lewis, Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, Ray Bradbury, Nick Hornby, Douglas Coupland, Daniel Handler, Chuck Klosterman. Some favorite books are: The Book of Lost Things, The Terrible Girls, Catcher in the Rye, Lord of the Flies, Catch 22, Series of Unfortunate Events, BONE, Flight (graphic novel series). I'm interested in astrology, all kinds of good music, and contemporary art in all its unique forms. I paint frames and flower pots on the side to sell when I'm not busy, writing, teaching, coaching or applying to jobs and/or grad schools. (www.myspace.com/stormcloudart). I have a conglomeration of poetry up at the site: www.poetrysoup.com.
My favorite movies are (because I think this can tell you a lot about a person): Anything by Jim Jarmusch esp. Down By Law. Shawshank Redemption, Stand By Me, Dead Poets Society (!), Bottle Rocket (Wes Anderson), Paris Je T'Aime, The Burbs, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
