In the deafening silence I heard you speak, words dripping with rebuke, what was that you said? They reverberate through the walls nonetheless, echoing your hate. I remember the gentle lilt of long gone understanding, The ever generous sigh of love's fresh beginning. Where have they gone? The clanging of the hollow bell is all I can hear.
