: About Me

I live in Western Michigan. I am married with four children of my own and one stepdaughter.

I love to write, listen to music and have recently become a member of the Creative Arts Team at my church. I've written several scripts for dramas used during Sunday messages, as well as a couple of full dramas we have done on holidays such as Easter.

I spent four years working at a local weekly paper. I gained a lot of experience during the four years I was there. I started the job after being hired as receptionist/editorial assistant. In the four years I was employed at the paper, I had become the office manager, had been given the opportunity to write columns, news stories, take photographs, and help get the paper to bed every deadline day. I loved it!

My mom went home to be with Jesus Dec. 13, 2006. My thoughts are many times lately focused on her last few months and how much I miss her. I am comforted in the fact I will see her again someday.

Three of my children live here in Michigan, and two are currently living in the state of Washington.

I enjoy blogging on Myspace as well as Blogspot. I have a strong faith in Christ and try to allow that to come through in things I write.

Is mind reading real or fake? You would think that should be an easy question to answer one way or the other, however for me it’s not. Let me explain. I voted fake for two reasons, one there are those who appear to be reading the mind but are actually just acutely observant, having learned to read a person's facial expressions and mannerisms, giving them the clues they need to be somewhat accurate.
