About me - Rachel M.

About me

In a sense I grew up knowing how to work, putting everything I am into everything I do has meant a lot to me.

Leaving my regular job at a local gas station to stay home with my children, with duties that included everything from cook, maid, baker, laundry mat, storyteller, scientist, artist, writer, chauffeur, and the most important one of all is raising two
well-mannered gentlemen.

I have been a stay at home mother for a couple of years now, trying to find ways to keep myself occupied in my spare time, everything from selling baked goods, to teaching my oldest child that picking up pop cans is a great way to clean up the environment as well as earn some extra money that we can use to get things we need.

While my life is very active, I learn new things about myself everyday through my children. Yet needing something that I can do to keep my work habits growing, and to accomplish something that makes me feel good about myself outside of being a mom is what caught my eye about writing.

We all need to be honest with ourselves. People do not walk into a room full of people and tell everyone everything about themselves, or say things without thinking about the outcome of what they will say or do.

However people don't pay as much attention when they are sitting in front of their computers typing. When I sit at my computer I have to remind myself that putting things on the computer is like standing in front of a crowd telling them what ever it is I am typing on the computer. If I wouldn't use profanity in front of my children then I shouldn't be doing it on the computer.
