: About Me

I'm a moody, mind changing, Earth loving, Earth Momma. I do hug trees, but only in private. I'm quietly spiritual and have a deep respect for all spiritual paths regardless of whether or not they're mine.

I've spent years going to school and will continue to for the rest of my life. I feel nothing is more valuable than knowledge - it's yours only and no one can ever take it away. I've gone in and out of community college, studying Anthropology & Criminal Justice. I admittedly discontinued that path because there seemed to be little financial future in Anthropology and Criminal Justice was too depressing. I feared either one would lead to excessive alcohol use. I then followed my whim and attended the Gemological Institute of America. I forced myself to finish, and left with the knowledge that humans do bad things to the Earth and to each other for little pieces of coal. I then turned towards something more humanitarian and enrolled at ACHS (Australasian College of Health Sciences). I was very excited to complete this schooling and graduated with honors, receiving a Master Herbalist diploma and a certificate in Homeobotanical Therapies. I do practice Holistic Health in my community, but have an aversion to charging for my services. Some Native Americans believe that to heal is a gift and is reward in itself. I agree with that. I will help anyone... anyone.

My other passions include cooking and writing. I've catered, been a chef in a small wine bar/restaurant, produced theatre, and collaborate with my writer/ filmmaker husband.
