: About Me

I like to play guitar (as you can see in the photo!) and have been playing 3 years as of now. My favourite band is the old Guns N' Roses lineup. I also like Metallica and Maiden and others like them. I can't stand this new outbreak of heavy emo stuff though, it's mindless and just makes me feel like if they have nothing better to do than complain about how bad their lives are then why don't they just cut themselves? I'm a little different. I have been a suspect of depression myself, but have decided that I don't have to wear the label, and you know what? I'm doing just fine.
The music I try to write has a little more of a thought process than just playing the same riff at 300 decibels and shouting into a microphone. I try to write from personal experience and that makes it easier to express myself through the guitar because I know how I want it to sound.

To be honest, I was quite surprised at this matchup. I didn't expect Ottawa to break into the conference finals over the New Jersey Devils for one, much less to beat the President's Trophy winning Buffalo Sabres in five games.
