About me - Pat Fox Ph.D.

About me

Pat holds a Ph.D. in Integral Studies, with a concentration in Transformative Learning and Change, and a Master of Arts in Organizational Development and Transformation, both from the California Institute of Integral Studies. The Ph.D. program was cross-disciplinary, combining social sciences, systems theory, and transformative learning. The Masters degree provided a firm foundation in the theory, methods, and practice of organizational development and transformation, and draws on courses in counseling and organizational psychology, management systems, cultural anthropology of organizations, and social systems theory.

Pat is certified by the Ken Blanchard Companies as a trainer of Situational Self-Leadership.

Dr. Fox has been in education since 1987, starting as full-time on-ground faculty, then moving into teaching and developing online classes. Pat was then offered a position as an Online Faculty Specialist beginning in 2003. Duties included hiring, training, and evaluating online faculty in several disciplines including Homeland Security,Criminal Justice, Criminal Investigations, the Social Sciences and Paralegal. Duties there also included the supervision of course development.

Pat is currently Division Chair, Online Learning for another major private education institution, and lives near Seattle.
