I am a clerk in a law firm. I am also enjoying learning how to write in my spare time(and I am a big fan of Helium for helping give me that experience).
I certainly have the passion for writing and can spend hours working on an article. Some people feel it is quite unnatural how long I can spend in front of a computer. I think it is easy to do something you love. I have heard of people being enthralled with a new computer game and spending 8 hours in front of a TV without getting up.
However, I do not feel I have the skills of a writer yet. I believe these need to be learnt (mainly through experience). I do not know exactly how long it takes, but I hope to let you know one day. My goal one day would be to do something great like write a great book.

My passion is ...
Writing (but I am still very much learning this skill).
I know too much about ...
Fixing computers (which either means I keep breaking them or I am just incredibly unlucky with them)?
My parents always told me ...
To work hard, hope for the best and always be good to my mother.
My childhood ambition ...
To be an airline pilot (but this soon ended when I realised I am a nervous flyer)! I would be lying if I told you that the thought of being in a metal tube that was falling from a great height, at high speed, while possibly being upside down or even spinning, while I was trying to correct the situation and save many lives, most likely by pressing buttons on some computer (also see my answer to the Q I know too much about), just stresses me out way too much!
My favorite memory ...
Childhood Christmas and holiday times when I was young, with my parents, family and friends (good times).
Why I write ...
I think I express myself better when I write (as I have more time to reflect on what I am trying to say and correct mistakes or things which may be misunderstood).
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
I am currently reading "Think and Grow Rich" (Napoleon Hill) and rereading "Living Dangerously" (Ranulph Fiennes - An Autobiography) and "The Devil Drives" (Fawn M. Brodie). Watching "Lost" on Tv - which is great, but also quite like "Torchwood" and the new "Dr Who" too (but something not quite right about these yet?). Can not remember the last really good movie I saw (I think they have stopped making good ones?). Thumbs up for Cirque du Soleil - Varekai (hope to have my hearing back soon!).
My first job ...
Just starting a new career. Forgot how tough it was starting from the bottom again. Your first job is much too tough!
My best moment ...
There is no feeling like getting home after a long trip away (travelling).
My inspiration ...
Anyone who has fought against prejudice, discrimination and come out ahead in the end (Nelson Mandela).
Let me start off by saying that this story is not about me but about someone much braver than me. A friend of my parents has skin cancer and it is very severe. He has it in the face. He is slowly dieing and will eventually need to move into a hospice in order to complete his journey through life and die. When I say he is brave I really mean it. I have trouble even thinking of going through what he has and will go through. I will identify him simply as Ted. His might be a journey anyone of us might have to undergo one day. I hope to God not but there is always a chance. For life is really q...
