The ridiculous obsession associated with love? Love's actually pretty cool; I'm a big fan of it. Obsession with love, on the other hand, isn't so great. Attitudes toward love can come in two extremes: 1) the cynical, negative view of all things concerning love (we see this a lot right around Valentine's Day, spewed out above and beyond the understandable sentiment that we don't need a Hallmark Holiday to express our feelings-or worse, when we find happiness and they feel a burning need to rain all over our parade), and 2) the love of being in love (which is cute when you are fifteen years ...
