I am a mother of three children, two of them are grown and moved out, I love to write and I live in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. I think all kids should at least watch the news once in awhile I don't agree with ALL the shows at there but they need to know what is going on in the world. They will be entering it when they grow up and get out on their own and if they don't know what's going on then they are pretty much just going to be flopping around like fish out of water. I think they should have a "street smart" class in schools just to get the kids ready for the bad people in this world who are waiting for them to get away from their parents.
