Although there are times when I wish I were a monk living somewhere in the Swiss Alps, for the better part of life I enjoy many things: my family;the sunshine;reading, writing and no, not arithmetic.
Diverse people, cultures, music and the arts interest me. Helping others as a social worker/counselor/chaplain has given me a degree of sustenance.
I have been fortunate to have published powerful articles like "The Lunacy of Teenage Driving", and other such important topics. The blended family has inspired a short book on help-me-get-out-of-or-possibly-through-this mess and I have another book awaiting some lucky companies doors entitled "The Search" the story of a child searching for his biological mother and father. It is a mystery. But truly it is about the search for love and the strong faith that pursues hope in spite of many personal disasters; personal disasters that ironically are connected to the original abandonment of adoption.
WWW.terminatee.com was a feeble attempt to help those who fill the ranks of the "Terminatee" a group that I define as those who have lost one or more employment situations or opportunities. Due to my lack of website skill or perhaps it is my outrageous prices, the site has lived up to its namesake. In fact it appears that the website has been removed. If you would like some help related to keeping a job or if you are an employer and you are having difficulty keeping your employees, send my an e-mail at NewDirections@terminatee.com and I will see what I can do for you.
I care about people and enjoy entertaining them through my writing or public speaking. I look forward to the opportunities Helium will provide in meeting others with similar interests

I drop my briefcase and she takes me by my hand to the carpeted living room where I lie down on my back and prepare for ta...
