I am a masters graduate, business consultant, public speaker, toastmaster, counselor, father or two boys, husband of one wife, businessman and author.
My first book, Dead Reckoning, draws from a navigational concept by which an observer can predict where someone might be, based on the last available data about their position, heading, terrain, handicaps and speed. It looks at how our own backgrounds predict an eventual crisis, where we confront the past in order to set more aspirational goals for the future. The book draws from the lives of ordinary men and women of history, to give hope in crisis and a reason to live for something more.

I come from South Africa, home of a few notable people like Nobel laureates Nelson Mandela, FW de Klerk, Bishop Tutu, author Nadine Gordimer and others. Three Nobel winners lived on one street, near to the memorial to those who died on Sharpeville day, the defining day of the struggle against apartheid.
I am not a political animal, but a socially conscious Christian who loves to write.

But women love it, because it's so manly. Yet for far less we allow ourselves to be convinced by adverts suggesting we may be less than what God made us to be. Or For the great achiever, the latest in chariots. Comes complete with an ego rubbing board and shiny dashboard so you can see how you look before everyone else does. Yuck! Since when are we what we appear to be. Is it all about image and appearances. Ar...
