My name is Elizabeth Vaughn, Liz for short. I have a beautiful daughter that will be three on May 29, 2007. I am a single mother trying not to let my daughter be raised by schools and daycare, yet still managing to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. When I grow up (if that ever happens), I want to be an author of a mixture of books. I am currently working on several books ranging from science fiction to self-help. I have wanted to be an author since I was 13, and have never given up that goal, though I still have yet to finish a book. Currently, I am working to establish a presence in the writing community and working on finishing one of the 6 books I have started. This should be completed in the next few months, as I finally found a way to stay at home to achieve my goal.
I am a very opinionated woman, like most women, and I am very happy to have found this site that literally pays me for my opinions as more than just a yes or no question on a survey. I look forward to writing many articles and hopefully receiving a good rating for them, as well as building my writing abilities simultaneously. Though my passion is to write, I am also considering psychology as a profession. Particularly child behavior psychology, since I have a child and it mixes two of my favorite studies.
In short, I believe this to be the perfect place for me to thrive, and I anticipate great things from writing articles on this site. If nothing else, I will have the opportunity to build my writing talent and share it with the masses.

Hereditary religion suggests that children are actually born with religion, which is incorrect. Children have no belief structure quite like our religions until we have taught it to them. But, begging the actual meaning of the question of whether it is the parent's choice to bring their children into a particular religion or not, I must emphatically disagree. The most obvious and typical reason for that line of thinking is because the parents are often not the only people in a child's life. Religion is taught even in public schools and day cares, beginning at very young ages. An example of...
