I am a 30 year old woman, divorced, and a college student. I woke up to what I really wanted out of life a bit later than most people; actually I think most people make the same realization when they get older so maybe I'm not a late bloomer lol.

I live in West Virginia with my partner who is my best friend. He makes me laugh, think, and grow more than any one person ever has in my life.

I have 2 dogs, a cat, four puppies, and a rooster. I don't have time for children with my menagerie. And that's all I care to say about myself at the moment.

Two years ago I moved to the wilds of coal country West Virginia on a very tight budget. I quickly learned how to save on costs, how to live without electricity at times, and how to squeeze the life out of every penny to save money. First, the house I live in has NO electrical heating at all. What does one do when there is no thermostat to magically make it warmer?
