Hi,
My name is Anita Whetzel, I was born in Grant County and raised in Burlington WV. I am 37 years old, I have 3 children my oldest son is James, he is 20 years old, My next oldest is Cassey, she is 19, and my youngest is 15,he will be 16 in August 2007, I am married. I have 6 sisters and 1 brother. I work a split shift job at the Mineral County Alternative School. I have worked for Mineral County Schools for 6 years full time and 3 years as a substitute. I like my job. I love to write poetry, and short stories, when I have time, It's not easy finding time to do this. I love Nature and everything that is involved in it. I love to listen to people, hearing what they have to say, and there opinions. I love to help people when I can. I love to see people happy. I am quiet mostly, I love to laugh and have fun. I enjoy learning new things, you can never learn enough. My favorite quote is " The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart." By Hellen Keller. I was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome, I go through a lot of depression, it's hard, but sometimes writing out my feelings with poetry helps me get through these rough times. I love music I listen to country and 94.1 all the time when I am traveling to work, or where ever.

For my mother The most beautiful flower, the brightest star, the sun in the morning, that's what you are. The fresh smell of flowers on a beautiful spring day, reminds me of you in so many ways. The warmth of the sun light that shines from above, mom this reminds me of your precious love. The painted leaves in Autumn that fall from the trees, is when I want to thank you for giving life to me.
