About me

A product of North County, St. Louis, home of The Castaway Club and Sts. John and James Parochial School. Working RN in a large nursing home, happily married, sixty-one years old. My father was born in Coleraine, Ireland, came through Ellis Island and worked in NYC. He joined the army and was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. where he met my Uncle Johnny who brought him home to South St. Louis for Sunday dinner, where he met my mother, Mary Jane.

My mother's entire family lived in South St. Louis which made me wonder why we lived in North County until I finally understood my father was from Northern Ireland.

Dad was a wonderful soccer player. Mom loved to play softball. I remember dad winning a writing contest about our great country America and a subsequent trip to Jefferson City, Mo. where he spent the weekend with mom while my 4 siblings and I terrorized Grandma.

I love to write. It helps me see who I am....that I am blessed for sure.

For the moment a plywood box covers the plain Mojave Cross to hide the offense - the offense of the cross - the offense of God in America. As America the Beautiful free falls into the vomitories of ancient Rome it becomes very clear that the final nail in the coffin might hinge upon this important Supreme Court case: "Salazar vs. Buono". A domino effect would begin if the high court decides in favor of the gentleman who lives hundreds of miles away from the offensive c...
