I've spent many years in the performing arts from acting to directing to teaching which is what I do now in an after school program. I feel like I have Peter Pan syndrome and I hate it when I have to act like an adult. I love to write childrens stories and poetry. I am an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church though I'm not the typical minister. I don't preach but I do listen and give advice when needed.

I've been working in the after school setting for almost three years now and let me tell you, without passion there is no way I could do my job. I love working with children. They bring such energy into my life, and with that energy comes passion. When kids find something they are interested in, it turns into passion. I've had to learn to teach with this same energy. Using their passion is my passion. If I go into a classroom and I don't meet the energy that they are exuding.... I'm dead in the water.
