I am a mother who has had her share of lifes ups and downs but also someone who is very much a believer in people.

I love to write but I believe that the greatest lessons of all, are those of human experience. For me, life is not just about proclaiming who we are and what we have acheived but about having the time to listen to others too. If we don't perhaps we could indeed miss something very important. And we might never know just what.....until we stop listening.

The Little Red Coat

The little red coat,
Pristine in a morose, morning sky.
Her daddy's far away,
Innocent, a tiny child,
She doesn't ask him 'why?'
Seasons come and seasons go,
Time shows no mercy,
As days become years.
The little red coat,
Sits locked away,
Oblivious to a thousand tears.
