I'm currently in a "SITCOM" - as in "Single Income Two Children Oppressive Mortgage", versus the "Comedy" version ... although I'm sure other sitcom folks will laugh through their tears with me.
I love sports and always have, especially from the Mind-Body-Spirit combination to achieve personal development. I also used to coach rugby teams, and probably my proudest gig was coaching the USA women's rugby team to win the World Cup (we were unbeaten in the 2 years I had the honour).
My business passion is to always create and learn while making good money, and part of learning is to mentor/teach others. Which is probably why one of my businesses is a Mentoring Company.
Learning also incorporates formal education and so I got mine: A Bachelor of Arts, an Honours degree in Human Resource Management, and an MBA with a Marketing thesis.
I've worked in large, medium and small businesses. Most of my working life has been to commercialize products or businesses, turn companies around (or stop the bleeding), with a strong emphasis on Technology companies, and Small-Medium Enterprises.
I was born and raised in Zambian, and am currently living in Australia. I have worked in several countries including the USA, UK, South Africa and other Southern African states, Europe, South-East Asia.
In addition to being a Marketing lecturer at a Minnesota University, I've also had the privilege of speaking at several conferences including some on Mentoring; Computer Assisted Learning; Women in Technology; and Technology & Outcomes Data for Productivity improvement.

Kelly Hearn's articles illustrate the interplay between legalism and moralism on Peru, petrol, and a US company's response when there are adverse environmental impacts.
To address the question of a US company's liability in American courts begs the question that US companies are legally liable for environmental consequences.
To support such liability there are plenty of precedents: For example, Exxon in 1989 a US issue; Ok Tedi in 1996 an Australian/Papua New Guinea issue; or the Bhopal disaster in 1984 a US/India issue. In all of these environmental disasters the Defendant Company...
