Carnivals and celebrations - In Argentina, the Tincunaco ceremony takes place the Thursday before Ash Wednesday. During this, a line of mothers, and another of grandmothers gather underneath an arch decorated with flowers and fruit. The two groups meet, and exchange a doll, touching it on each other's foreheads. On Easter Sunday, the ladies wear traditional, colourful dresses, while riding on horseback.
