It's Thursday the 17th of May 2007 and I have just realised that my life needs a change. I'm fed up of the admin jobs I have constantly done and it's about time I put my writing skills to good use.
I am 33 year old and unfortunately I am divorced and back home living with my mother. I have 2 children, Lewis aged 7 and Sasha aged 6, and these are children are the fuel that urges me along. As many parents will say about their children, they are the most adorable creations in my life and they are the most important people in my world. I really couldn't live without them.
I live in the North East of England in a town called Stockton on Tees, which is a few miles from the vibrant town of Middlesbrough, location of my favourite football team Middlesbrough F.C.
I am very passionate about sport and hopefully I can combine this passion with another love of mine, writing. It's only been in the last few years that I have started to enjoy writing and it has now come to the point where I love it and would like to move into this field as an occupation - though as we all know, getting into journalism at the age of 33 year old without any relevant qualifications is quite a difficult task.
I have done some voluntary writing for a website called raceclubs.com, where I was the resident race reviewer for almost 6 months. Raceclubs is a fun virtual racing game that I no longer play, but while I was there, my passion for writing shone through. I posted a race review on the forum and I was instantly snapped up by the game organiser to submit regular race reviews for the site. I was once described as 'blessed with sublime literary talent' by a Sports Editor of the Irish Independent Newspaper, but unfortunately I became disillusioned with Raceclubs the game and left recently. I have masses of saved reviews I have done over the months and if anybody wants to read any of them then please contact me.
Although sports writing is my passion, especially football and horse racing, I do consider myself as quite an opinionated person who could write about virtually anything. However, I do tend to deal in facts, which makes given an opinion quite a skill sometimes. I also have a dry sense of humour and have tried my hand at comedy writing, which so far has been kindly received my the people that have read it.

Being an Englishman, I am sure you will all forgive me for having memorable sporting moments from this side of the pond. I have so many memorable sporting moments, none more memorable than the other, as they all stick in the memory for the hair raising feelings that they provided me with. Whether it's a moment of pure genius, or someone overcoming adversity, perhaps someone breaking a record, or just someone showing immense passion, we all have different reasons for remembering certain sporting moments. Below is just one of my top memorable moments in sports television. If any of you have ...
