Adam Smith is a professional real estate appraiser by day... and night. It's a dynamic and fascinating career and Adam spends many a sleepless night pondering the answers to unique appraisal challenges.

When free, Adam writes, reads, camps and looks to spend time with family. Four terrific escapes from the daily grind.

When he retires, Adam hopes to write full time. When that will be is anybody's guess at present. Until that time, he'll have to settle for any brief chance to hone his art.

God, upon his astral throne, looked down upon creation. Seeing all the good he'd wrought filled him with elation. Enveloped in the guise of man, he deemed a visit wise. The year was thirty-sixty-nine, the time of day; Sunrise. As he stepped into a crowded street the morning commute began. A hover car slammed into him (it was like a floating van). Amnesia took hold his mind, the doctors sought a cure; they interviewed him at great length; of his name he was unsure. They took him daily for long walks, near a pond of crystal blue.
