Hi, I'm Gary Tougher, I'm Canadian and I live In Winnipeg Manitoba. I've recently re-discovered how much I enjoy writing. At University my essays got me A's while my exams did far less well, so I guess I've always had an affinity for writing. I'll probably be found a lot in the sports section, as this is, and has been my passion my whole life. I've been blogging on sports sites for quite a while now and I have also written Internet freelance articles on a number of subjects. I enjoy the rating system on HELIUM and I also like the challenge of trying to get #1's on all my articles, however it's also deflating when you watch the rate on one of your favorite articles plunge below where you are convinced it should rate.

SO, YOU WANT TO BE A COACH Your seven-year old son really likes hockey and has been skating since he was four and played rec-hockey last year.(Get them on the ice early; it's a Canadian thing.)
