Hi, My name is Annette Bromley and I go by the nickname of Annie among some of my friends. I live in Vermont and have for most of my life, all 68 plus years of it. I'm semi-retired, a mom and a grandmother. I graduated from Chester, VT High School (now called Green Mountain) and from Rutland, VT Business College. I also attended College of Saint Joseph the Provider in Rutland, VT. I have a wide range of interest and will discuss just about anything other than politics. Politics only makes me mad and I hate being mad. I enjoy nature and country living. I like camping and hiking and boating. I'm a rockhound, a birdwatcher, I enjoy photography and drawing. I love to write. I write about a lot of different things. I write both fiction and non-fiction. I write short stories, children's stories, poetry, essays, articles, devotionals and have just finished writing my first novel, still in sloppy copy but I have a publisher who is interested in looking at it. No promises BUT. You'll find my poetry and a few short stories at a place called the Starlite Cafe on the internet (I write under the name of Annie there) and hopefully you will find me in your local library or bookstore in the very near future, give or take the next six months or so. I have some stuff in the works and I have my first nove RUN AWAY HOME published (Find me at Google). You will also find me at ABC-TALES where I publish most short stories, legend and lore. Check me out at Twitter. I'm GreenMtnWriter. My plan is that you will be seeing a lot of me around here as well. Keep watching. Happy Reading. Annette (Annie)

LOVES SWEET EMBRACE Snuggled in against the winter’s cold my thoughts rewind to memories, summers walking on an ocean beach, of my love walking with me hand in hand, a sweet embrace back when times were young and good, a time now past, another place and I might go back if I could, if only for a moment to walk together on the sand, to feel again that sweet embrace, just one more time again that we once shared in our yesterdays, before life tore us apart… But oh how sweet love’s sweet embrace remains locked in my heart, treasured moments I remember now that I am growing ol...
