Hello to all.

My name's Joshua, but I prefer to be called Yoshi or Josh. I'm 19 years old and am an aspiring author. I have been writing from a young age and begun after reading 'The BFG' by Roald Dahl. It all started from there and I've never looked back.

How to describe me? Expressive, honest, straightforward, thoughtful, friendly. That covers it quite nicely.

I write a lot of dark material as that's where my best material lies. I'm trying to expand my writing to explore all genres and styles, but it's a work in progress.

I'm a confident writer and any of the material you see on here is my genuine writing and I am very proud of it. Most of my writing is still in the autobiographical stage, but I'm attempting to move away from that to grow as a writer.

Oh no, here we go again. I'm walking merrily in the shopping centre, subconsciously bobbing along to the beat of Girls Aloud on my iPod. I know exactly what I'm going to do: a quick trip to Boots to get some mouthwash and a new toothbrush, then to Primark to pick up a new waistcoast - anyone who goes to Topman and spends 30 pounds a time on one, I laugh in your face. 6 pounds from Primark, bargain! - and then it's back to the safety of my home where I won't be tempted by all those unutterably beautiful clothes.
