If we hand out all the apples in the barrel to the needy what do we do for ourselves? Do we become the poor, the needy? This may be over simplifying it but it is the truth. I have heard terms like this many times before about all sorts of issues, Mostly homelessness. Which I do care about and tend to give to. But we don't have the capability to keep giving away free everything for the benefit of people to flood our nation with needs. Would any supermarket survive if it said to people "Oh take what you have stolen I have more", when it caught someone stealing? People would be back in droves...
