About me - S Bond Herndon

About me

One of the last of the "Baby Boomers". Married, for the second and last time, to my co-author, with one published novel, and dozens more in process between us.

I love writing, and therefore love reading. After all, one simply goes with the other.

Take your time and read a little of my stuff, if you will... Or, you can find out more about our novel by clicking on the link under my picture!

Briefly me

My passion is ...

A well told story, book or film.

I know too much about ...

History

My parents always told me ...

Happiness is getting paid for doing what you love to do.

My childhood ambition ...

To play professional sports

My favorite memory ...

Going to ball games with my father.

Why I write ...

Because I must, the stories take up too much space in my mind.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

I read three to four novels a week, by too many different authors to list. I watch sports, the History Channel, Discovery Channel, Classic Movies, as well as the latest well done film. I enjoy a good foriegn subtitled film as well. My listening is quite ecclectic, from classic rock and soul to country and current pop, but I am most passionate about the Blues, and hope that it will somehow continue as an art form.

My first job ...

Peeling potatoes at a Western Sizzler steak house.

My best moment ...

Holding my grand child for the first time tops a very long list of bests

My inspiration ...

My father, who died when I was about to turn fourteen; he was a true hero in every sense of the word.
