I live and create in my home on Hatzic Island, with my husband and three small children. My experience with painting and writing began only a few short years ago, as a spiritual exercise, but has since grown into an absolute passion, and a wonderful way to express to the outer world what I experience on the inner. It has also provided me with tools that I can use in my daily life to create happier, more fulfilling experiences. All of my artwork and writing is produced during contemplative meditation. In the right state of mind, visions will appear before me and within me, on the canvas or paper as well as on the screen of my inner sight. I paint what I see with my heart. I write what I hear flowing through me. I know that I am on the right track when the sensation of childlike wonder, inner excitement and the feeling of freedom engulfs me. It is vitally important at this time to completely set aside my ego's critical judgment, so that I may for a moment, step outside of myself and with an open heart and an open mind, allow the spirit to flow freely. It is an amazing journey that seems to have connected with other people as well. There is an energy to the images and writing that are produced in this way. If one can truly connect with the spirit of the painting or the verse, it results in ones own creative energy being drawn to the surface. The only thing greater than experiencing the internal flow of creative spirit moving through me, is when that same spirit touches someone else through a connection with one of my paintings or some of my writing, inspiring them to express their own creativity in their own individual way. I present my art as original paintings, art cards and meditation cards. I have also composed many write-ups for many of my paintings.

It's a drizzly Monday morning. The alarm blasts out a rockin tune that pierces your eardrums. With eyes half closed, still fairly comatose, your hand flings instictually toward the sound. Where's that bloody snooze button? Eventually you manage to drag yourself out of bed but all the while you are wishing that you could be doing anything other than getting ready for your dreaded nine to five. You think to yourself for the millionth time, "Oh God it's time for a change in careers." Sound vaguely familiar? Are you bored to tears with your job? Do you dread going to work?
