As a person in the middle of the road, as far as political issues are concerned, I feel labels are simply uncalled for and can be and usually are destructive.  My brother calls me a Liberal, simply because I did not vote as a Republican in the last Presidential election.  Once when he called me a "Liberal", I said, "you make that sound like a very bad thing".  He stated it was a "a very bad" thing.  These terms "Conservative and Liberal" have torn many families, neighborhoods, and if you will America apart.  In my heart I can not turn my back to the needy in Americ...
