Born in April of 1960 I was on the tale end of the Baby Boom, the youngest of the family. Growing up during this point in history lead to my early life as a dedicated hedonist. The theme song of my generation, "If you can't be with the one you love Honey, love the one your with!" And I must admit I lived that motto for most of my young life. There was never any religious training during this time. My parents sent my siblings and myself off to Sunday school, but this was just a ploy to have some quiet alone time for themselves I'm sure, since neither ever went to church in my growing up years that I can remember.
When I turned 28 though, something changed and I felt that I had to get some kind of spirituality in my life. I later learned that the 28th year is what is called in Astrology "the Third Saturn Return" and many people see a drastic change of perception around this time in life. So I began my personal research trying to find that spark that would fire up my spirit. At this point my ex-wife and I went on pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, France. My ex was a non-practicing cradle Catholic and I was nothing at the time, so in truth the trip was a very inexpensive way for us to see the south of France. It was not our intention to attend any of the festivities, but we decided that we should at least attend the opening ceremonies. During the mass a statue of the Virgin Mary turned it's head and looked right at me! Stunned, amazed and more than just a little freaked out I figured since Mary was part of the Catholic Church, I was being called to be Catholic. Upon returning to the states I immediately went to my local parish and went through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. I did my best to be a good Catholic for several years, but I have to admit I knew I'd made a mistake even before the year long initiation was complete. No one wanted to talk about Mary!
I prayed the rosary often and continued my own research into the history of the Church and the philosophy of other religions. After a while I came to realize that much of what the church taught was not necessarily true and I realized that my experience in Lourdes was the Feminine Aspect of God. And Mary's appearance to me was that "Goddess Aspect". Out of respect for the Church I stopped attending the mass as equating Mary as Divine is heresy. About a year later, and after my ex and I split, I was in a used book store and found Buckland's Complete Guide to Witchcraft. I said, "I gotta get this book and put it on my coffee table, it will totally freak out my friends." Little did I know that this book, bought as a gag, would change my life. I dove into everything "Witchy" and Celtic and was consecrated a priest on Samhain of 2000. The year before this I started a relationship with a wonderful woman who was very much into Metaphysics and so my veracity for knowledge headed in that direction as well. Over the years she and I aided in the creation of several active circles in NW Montana before we went on our separate paths.
We now arrive at the present and through my continuing personal study of world religions and modern science I have come to a place where I realize that there is no separation at all. I still refer to a "God" and "Goddess", but I now understand that they are personifications of the Duality of this Reality. They, as well as every other energetic in the universe is ultimately Me and I am ultimately Them. We are the ultimate Universal "I". So I am dedicated to helping others come to a similar understanding. That there is no separation between Human and Divine, Divine is just a state of consciousness that all can achieve!

Sex Magick in Theory and Practice.
The only other article here at Helium at the time of this writing that deals with Sex Magick is one by Frater I.A. and it does a very good job covering the different ideologies surrounding the Art of Sex Magick. So I will not take the time to re-cover that information in this article. I will instead give a step by step discription of the most Holy Act of Sex Magick that exists within the Wiccan/Pagan community. The Great Rite. This is not meant to degrade the Rite as some might object to it being discribed in such an open format. But it seems that the k...
