(A brief) Employment History

As with most struggling artists, I have held numerous and various jobs ranging from food server to journalist to home care provider to telephone psychic counselor. I have also, over the years, held several positions more within my field, such as Paste-up/Layout Artist, Window Display Artist and Painter, Art Lab Technician and Instructor's Assistant, Life Drawing Model, and Stained Glass Production Worker, Designer and Studio Manager, as well as owner/operator of A Hartjoy Design, Graphics and Stained Glass Studio.

Inspired by my first published writing success at age 15, I began my career as a journalist/columnist in earnest 25 years ago. During that time I have been a free-lance and staff writer; proofreader, copywriter and editor; technical writer and illustrator; and paste-up/layout artist.
