I am retired, but still very active in community projects in my hometown. My main passions are writing and family history, which I have combined as an ongoing project. The ambition to write and publish children's stories has been encouraged by my family of 2 sons and eleven grandchildren who keep me busy when I'm not writing. I am currently studying with Open Universities as a personal goal, not available to me in my younger years and aiming for a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Literature and Composition. My other interests are craft and painting when time allows. Life has always been busy, but now I am making some time for myself and I hope Helium will be the start I am looking for to begin publishing my own stories.
