Welcome! I am so glad you stopped by to learn a bit about me. I have been writing for many years, and it is a craft I love. While my favorite topic is history, I enjoy writing on almost any subject.

I have written for several newspapers and magazines in the past, but I know longer care to travel to get my stories. The internet has opened up a brand new source of writing for me, and I look forward to "collecting" readers on this vast informational highway.

I lost my husband to pancreatic cancer on April 23, 2009. Until he was diagnosed, I knew nothing about this deadly disease, except that it was something Patrick Swayze had.
