About me - Martha Leonard

About me

I have many identities: I am a widow, a mother with two daughters, a grandmother (seven grandchildren) a stepmother, (two more daughters) an amateur clown and a traveler, as in a full-time RVer.

I used to be a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and I have two Master's degrees. I still love to learn new things and I believe that keeps me young. I love people, animals, beauty and life.

I love to read, write, paint, sing, do puzzles, surf the web, take pictures, arrange flowers, laugh, dance, explore, travel, talk, listen, volunteer and help others. I do a lot of church work and help with a Haitian mission program. I also have a long list of things I want to do before I die. I am blessed to be working on that list right now.

I have driven my RV from the Atlantic to the Pacific and from Washington State to Florida with my cat for company and loved every minute of it. I am journaling my trip on a travel blog.

I write partly for fun and to earn extra money. I read to learn and relax. I am pleased to be a part of Helium.

For this reason, teaching a child to be a safe pedestrian begins by parents going for walks with them.
