: About Me

My name is Kristin Smith. I'm a married mommy of one (for now), and my passion, other than my family, is writing and reading (and wrestling). I was born in montana, and raised in Washington. Washington is my home. I grew to love writing as a teenager. I had horrid depression, and writing seemed to be an escape of the pain. Or at least an outlet. My poetry has won several awards and has even been published in 4 books in the last 3 years. I feel that i'm a good writer that has the potential to be great. One of my Writing teachers in high school thought my writing to be inspired and brilliant. I dont think i am brilliant, but one day... perhaps.

AS i look in the mirror What do i see? I see a monster Staring back at me. Crying and bloodstained From head to toe There's no one left To know what i know. How could i have committed Such atrocities? Looking at my reflection I see no trace of me. Lost to the shadows Forgotten by those she once loved No mercy shall be given NO forgiveness from above. Who she once was Is now a cold memory Lost and abandoned By the cold, dark sea. Now a broken shard Of who she used to be She spills her own blood To end this travesty...
