About me

I have two beautiful children of my own, Sylvie(6) and Isabella(2). I have three beautiful stepchildren, Kelsey and Lacey (7 and identical twins) and Logan(4) the frog lover. I am a stay at home mom and take online courses towards a degree in English. I am also a freelance children's writer. I still live in my hometown, the boondocks of the boondocks, and my favorite thing to do is curl up with a good book and ignore everyone. My husband is younger than me which makes me awesome. I drive an SUV full of children back and forth to Walmart and do all the soccer mom stuff. Yay. I also clean alot because with five kids the only thing I can look forward to is something clean to drink from and when my barefeet do not stick to the kitchen floor. This is not the life I envisioned for myself so many years ago but living it now I can imagine how boring it would be if I didn't have the constant, yet wonderful, chaos of motherhood and wifedom. I rule my subjects with an iron hand and an occasional batch of homemade chocolate chip cookies. Who, in their right mind or even the one thats left, wants mutiny?

After the wedding ceremony was complete, my new husband and I asked our guests for a few minutes alone. The aisle I walked down on my day as a bride was adorned with a long piece of green silk covered in rose petals. We gathered this all up and made our way to the cemetery while our guests waited inside.
