I have written for as long as my memory serves . . . and with a neurological disorder sometimes it doesn't serve me too well. I started speaking at four months and my mom says I haven't shut up since. That may be why I currently have verbal dyslexia and the bridges are washed out sometimes from my thoughts to my mouth. It definitely couldn't have anything to do with the mystery known as MS . . . NAHHHH!
I currently hold a full (very FULL) time job as a secretary. My "official" title is Executive Personal Assistant although I prefer Personal Executive Assistant or to be more precise a Social Whiz Exacting Entrepreneurial Timetables as a Personal Executive Assistant Then I would be S.W.E.E.T. as a P.E.A. Those people who have all of those fancy fangled letters after their names have nothing on me! Hummm..... can you tell I'm not impressed with titles or more precisely people who derive their importance from them? Did you ever wonder if all those letters after peoples names were so important, signified so much or set them apart why God doesn't have any after His? That could be a very interesting pondering . . . God A.O.B.E. (Alpha, Omega, Beginning, End) And just think of all of the other titles He has. Ooops I digress. Oh, did I mention my sense of humor is just a bit twisted?
My "paying" job is great - I can't imagine another position that will let me do so many of the things that I love; writing articles & features, editing, graphic design, web design, photography, conference planning and forms creation. Ohhh too much fun and they pay me too!
My off hours are spent with the my most fantabulous (I know its not a word, but it describes him perfectly) husband of 21 years and my indescribably gifted 14 year old son. We love to hang out together and do our collective "things" all at once, but still together; camping, modeling, RC planes, boats and cars, model rocketry, writing, listening to music, playing guitars and of all things just talking!
As I said before I have written consistently for many years. I am embarking on a new phase of my life in the arena of motivational & convention speaker; Event Planner and Life Event Planner. Within the year I expect my new venture to flourish and to forge through with my dream of having my first book published.
I don't know what else my future holds, but I do know who holds my future and it rests in those that created me to then create for His glory.

Does the risk of influenza justify causing public panic? No. A better question regarding the latest scare would be: can television, radio, journalists and politicians justify their climbing ratings by causing a public panic? The answer to both questions is no. I have heard the latest flu bout called everything from an outbreak to an epidemic. The constant barrage of media attention has blown the whole thing completely out of proportion. In a society that has many more important and worrisome problems, it is a travesty to bombard the public with misinformation to for no other reason make so...
