Yes, I do believe that children should be taught and made more aware of disability.

I am disabled and I am fully aware of how bad children and even some adults can treat the disabled. I was called lots of names by children who just did not know any better. They were not taught to understand and respect those of us who differ from the norm. Children can be the cruelest of people at that age because most of them just did not know any better.
