About me

Trish is an Australian writer of fiction, short and long, and non-fiction work. Her interests range from historical to current affairs with many a side trip through fantasy and horror. Her preferred area of work is fiction; especially speculative fiction where she can push the boundaries of accepted reality. Trish's publishing credits include a film study guide used in local high schools, prize-winning short stories and articles in online e-zines and a local community journal as well as researching, writing and editing of several local study pieces. She currently works in the cultural unit of local government where she edits, writes, files and answers phones on a part-time basis.

Trish regularly participates in editing, proof reading, and critiquing projects with fellow writers. She has also completed courses in creative writing, editing, copyright, graphics software and general interest/research [criminal psychology, Australian and French history, archaeology, time management, internet fraud and many others].

In 2005, Trish undertook a research trip to the United States to revisit the settings for her current novels and do some research on the side for future story ideas. So far, her novels have explored the South West Plains of the USA, the Rocky Mountains in Wyoming and Colorado, and her home-town of Sydney, Australia. In the depths of researching a new novel set in Southern France in the year 270AD, Trish is also expanding the "writer-for-hire" side of her business.
