He has published essays in Zeek, Whosoever, Jewish Mosaic, White Crane Journal, American Atheist, and Fresh Yarn and in several anthologies including Nobody Passes: Rejecting the Rules of Gender and Conformity (Seal Press, 2006). His flash fiction has appeared in Glossolalia and his poetry in Snakeskin, Ariga, and Flutter.
He received a masters degree in Journalism from Boston University and a bachelors degree in Philosophy from Brown University.
The push for same-sex marriage in California has spurred several important legal decisions.
