Recently I had to chance to talk with a friend that I had not talked to in a long time. It was such a wonderful conversation, and there was no awkward "are we still friends" stage. We just picked up directly where we had left off. He said something that made me think. He said, "You know. The older I get, the more grayer the world becomes."

First, I suggested he get tested for color-blindness. But, then he explained that as he gets more mature, he is starting to realize that there is more to being human than seeing things as black-and-white.
