A Special Friend With glossy coat of chestnut red And eyes all big and brown, A tail that's always wagging, She never wears a frown. Her soft and gentle nature, She's so loving that's for sure When I come home from shopping, She'll be waiting at the door. All excited, bouncing around She really makes my day, It's so lovely to be missed And welcomed home that way.
