A Special Friend With glossy coat of chestnut red And eyes all big and brown, A tail that's always wagging, She never wears a frown. Her soft and gentle nature, She's so loving that's for sure When I come home from shopping, She'll be waiting at the door. All excited, bouncing around She really makes my day, It's so lovely to be missed And welcomed home that way. And when I'm feeling lonely She knows just what to do, And cuddles up beside me To stop me feeling blue.
